Position: Junior Graphic Designer, Print and Web
Location: Toronto
Hours: Full Time
OVERVIEW:
In this exciting, creative position, you will work with the marketing and sales teams to create, design and execute graphics, ads, websites and promotional materials to support the marketing and sales of our services. The Junior Graphic Designer will work in all design functions both print (brochure and folder designs, tradeshow support, etc) and web (design and build web interfaces, direct email, banners, maintain and update content of multiple websites).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Juggle multiple print & web projects in a timeline driven environment
- Create imaginative newspaper/magazine ads, marketing/sales brochures, sales sheets, posters and other promotional materials for various marketing campaigns
- Designing, developing and implementing dynamic websites
- Create high quality, clever and enticing email blasts and banner ads
SKILLS:
- Proficient in the use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and MS Office
- Well versed in the latest graphic design methods, practices, techniques, and associated principles
- Impeccable typography skills
- Strong knowledge of page layout and photographic requirements
- Knowledge of print design and production
- Web design knowledge including comfort with HTML
- Familiarity with FTP
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and resources in a highly demanding work environment
- A conscientious, reliable self-starter who can work independently or as a team member
- An organized and self-motivated conceptual thinker
- Very strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Good customer service skills
- Solid design and conceptual skills
- Detailed oriented with the ability to think outside the box
EXPERIENCE:
- Some work experience required
- Must be extremely proficient in InDesign CS3, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Graphic Design diploma/degree

Position: Manager, Business Development, Merit Sports
Location: Toronto
Hours: Full Time
OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITY:
To seek, develop, manage and service new business within the sports industry focusing on team and individual sports at both the high school and club level. The business will be directed to participate in Disney/ESPN created sports events, and new events hosted by the Disney/ESPN Sports Complex.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the various Disney Sports Teams
- Prepare, recommend and secure management approval to an annual marketing and business development plan for the Merit Sports Division
- Pursue all business development opportunities including spectator packages and additional room nights, and theme park tickets
- Manage client relationships from sales to execution of event
- Represent Merit Sports and the Disney/ESPN opportunity at trade shows and other industry events
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales, marketing and new business development
- In depth knowledge of team sports including soccer, rugby and golf
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to apply long term strategic perspective to daily activities
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will appeal to a high-energy individual with well-developed skills and proven track record. Responsibilities of the Branch Manager include tracking sales, recruitment, coaching, training and performance management of staff. This role drives business development and marketing of the shop – this includes selling, understanding the local market, identifying opportunities and targeting local markets in campaigns or communications. Managers are responsible for efficiencies in branch operations and financial performance of the office. They identify changes that can be made to improve office performance and are responsible for implementing these strategies.
JOB & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years management of a retail travel shop preferred
